Message:

Rewrote a number of classes to use a new triple<> type instead of tuple<>. I
did this to reduce the length of error messages and get rid of some of the
uglier syntax.

Copied the older property code out of branches and started rewriting it along
the lines of discussion of IU. Still no property maps.
