Boost C++ Libraries: Ticket #10674: Boost 1.56 freezes app on some systems with Windows 7 https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/10674
I am the developer of qBittorrent. It uses libtorrent-rasterbar which in turn uses Boost (mostly Asio). I recently made a new release. I compiled against Boost 1.56. However I got some complaints from users that the GUI freezes for 5-20secs frequently. All these users are using Windows 7. However I am using Windows XP and I am unable to reproduce. To make the long story short, I provided different test builds based on Boost.Asio and we pinpointed the commit that introduced the freezing problem.

Here is the relevant issue from our bug tracker: url removed Here is the offending commit: url removed

If you need any more info, I'll try to provide it.
en-us Boost C++ Libraries /htdocs/site/boost.png https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/10674 Trac 1.4.3 sledgehammer_999 <hammered999@…> Sat, 18 Oct 2014 23:05:13 GMT

Trac flags my url as spam.
