                  + numeric::fdiv(tmp * tmp, cnt - 1);

with this one:
        this->variance =
                    numeric::fdiv(this->variance * (cnt - 1), cnt)
                  + numeric::fdiv(std::pow(std::abs(tmp),2), cnt - 1);
