Description
I'm trying to establish the status of the toolbox extension in the boost GIL library.
It's been in the repository for many years but doesn't ever seem to have been included in a release - the Fedora boost maintainer tells me that it has never been merged to the master branch.
I did find an email thread suggesting that it had been reviewed for inclusion some years ago but apparently it never completed that process?

The Toolbox has been accepted into Boost long time ago, together with the GIL IO v2 http://lists.boost.org/Archives/boost/2011/01/175935.php
In Feb, 2013, the Toolbox was merged into the develop branch of Boost source code. https://github.com/boostorg/gil/commit/6ed4ba628cb1cb0623a7c4ba27c8484530499c5f
Note, the Toolbox has not been merged into master, so it has not been officially released yet.
