Boost C++ Libraries: Ticket #12306: boost::filesystem::remove_all(const path& p, system::error_code& ec) throws while it shouldn't https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/12306
This issue has been reported 4y ago (boost 1.50.0) but it's still here.

But I have an easier way to reproduce it. On a windows OS (I used win 8.1), create a folder somewhere, and use the windows properties on it to deny all access to it for you (FullAccess:Deny). Now, try to boost::filesystem::remove_all(folderPath, ec) on it. It will throw!
en-us Boost C++ Libraries /htdocs/site/boost.png https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/12306 Trac 1.4.3 viboes Fri, 19 Aug 2016 21:19:16 GMT component changed; owner set https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/12306#comment:1 https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/12306#comment:1

owner set to Beman Dawes

component None → filesystem

Ticket florian jacomme <florian@…> Sun, 04 Sep 2016 09:18:16 GMT

same as <a class="new ticket" href="https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/7303" title="#7303: Feature Requests: XML Serialization - Skip/Ignore unexpected data.
