Boost C++ Libraries: Ticket #13382: Bug in polygon OR operation with collinear points https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/13382
When OR operation is performed between 2 non-overlapping polygons that contain collinear points with the same y coordinate, the resulting set is empty. However, if collinear points are removed, the resulting set contains the 2 polygons.

If generic polygon_set_data objects are used, the OR operation works fine. The problem appears when polygon_90_set_data objects are used in order to increase efficiency of boolean operations.
en-us Boost C++ Libraries /htdocs/site/boost.png https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/13382 Trac 1.4.3 k.daloukas@… Mon, 08 Jan 2018 15:15:11 GMT attachment set https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/13382 https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/13382

attachment → boost_collinear_points_error.cpp

Example replicating the bug
Ticket anonymous Thu, 05 Apr 2018 08:47:26 GMT severity changed https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/13382#comment:1 https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/13382#comment:1

severity Problem → Showstopper

Ticket John Maddock Thu, 10 May 2018 12:03:11 GMT component changed; owner set https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/13382#comment:2 https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/13382#comment:2

owner set to Barend Gehrels

component None → geometry

Ticket awulkiew Thu, 10 May 2018 15:58:37 GMT owner, component changed https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/13382#comment:3 https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/13382#comment:3

owner changed from Barend Gehrels to Lucanus Simonson

component geometry → polygon

Ticket
