When I create a ""Debug"" build of the Boost.Regex linking example from ""Getting Started on Windows"" [1], building succeeds, but when I start the exe, I see the console message ""The system cannot execute the specified program""[[BR]] (translated from ""Das angegebene Programm kann nicht ausgeführt werden."")[[BR]] Dependency Walker says that MSVCP80D.DLL and MSVCR80D.DLL cannot be found. Workaround: using a static runtime library[[BR]] (by setting ""C/C++->Code Generation->Runtime Library"" to ""Multi-threaded Debug (/MTd)"" instead of the default ""Multi-threaded Debug DLL (/MDd)"". The example runs fine as ""Release"" build (with the default ""Multi-threaded DLL (/MD)"" runtime library). (I see this problem on two different machines.)
