Boost C++ Libraries: Ticket #3596: Boost.org DNS entry https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/3596
My issue relates to boost.org's usage of easydns its nameserver. Unfortunately, some people are now blocking that dns server and leaving the website inaccessible. This is turning out to be rather big issue.
en-us Boost C++ Libraries /htdocs/site/boost.png https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/3596 Trac 1.4.3 Steven Watanabe Sun, 08 Nov 2009 03:33:30 GMT component changed; owner set https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/3596#comment:1 https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/3596#comment:1

owner set to René Rivera

component None → website

Ticket René Rivera Sun, 08 Nov 2009 16:21:50 GMT owner changed https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/3596#comment:2 https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/3596#comment:2

owner changed from René Rivera to Beman Dawes

Giving this to Beman as he controls the DNS, IIRC.
Ticket René Rivera Sun, 08 Nov 2009 16:24:38 GMT

Note, that the way DNS works... We've tried getting to boost by IP, but it looks like your on a shared server that requires the hostname be sent. I have tried different variations the IP address such as http://129.79.245.252/~boost/ etc to see if there is an alternate method of reaching the site, but haven't found one.

owner, status changed https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/3596#comment:5 https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/3596#comment:5

owner changed from Beman Dawes to anonymous

status new → assigned

So sorry about this.
