Boost C++ Libraries: Ticket #6637: Include static multithreaded libraries in release mode, using static runtime by default https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/6637
Could you include static multithreaded libraries in release mode, using static runtime by default? I think it's an often used variant when one doesn't want to bother with redistributing / installing the VC runtime.

Could you also recommend -j X?

http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_49_0/more/getting_started/windows.html#or-simplified-build-from-source
en-us Boost C++ Libraries /htdocs/site/boost.png https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/6637 Trac 1.4.3 viboes Thu, 03 Jan 2013 18:10:36 GMT component changed; owner set https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/6637#comment:1 https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/6637#comment:1

owner set to Vladimir Prus

component Building Boost → build

Ticket Vladimir Prus Thu, 03 Jan 2013 20:43:09 GMT

Was was this one reassigned from "Building Boost" to "build"?

status, component changed; resolution set https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/6637#comment:3 https://svn.boost.org/trac10/ticket/6637#comment:3

status new → closed

resolution → wontfix

component build → Building Boost

The default build matches the default settings of the IDE. Either use --build-type=complete or explicitly specify the build settings that you want. Trying to guess which settings are "common" is a hopeless cause, IMHO.
Ticket Olaf van der Spek <olafvdspek@…> Mon, 18 Mar 2013 16:31:18 GMT

IDE?
