Milestone: | Boost 1.40.0 | Component: | spirit |
Version: | Boost 1.38.0 | Severity: | Problem |

Description
The horizontal lines make text hard to read. Suggesting changing the background to solid color instead.
The image in question has alternating white and grey (gradient) lines: http://spirit.sourceforge.net/distrib/spirit_1_8_5/libs/spirit/doc/theme/bkd.gif

The documentation of Spirit2.1 is generated by QuickBook, so it doesn't have this background image anymore. We won't fix the older (Spirit.Classic) docs, though (even more as these are around for more than 5 years now and nobody complained about this yet).

This is up to you, but I'll add that you should be setting the text colour in CSS whenever you use a background image or colour.
