bjam can't handle compressed archives

Description

On some platforms (True64, e.g.) archive libraries can
contain compressed members. Boost jam doesn't work
properly with them. Attached is a simple fix for it.

That's probably the bjam version number, right? I would like to 
know the boost version number. If it's 1.32 or less, would you 
please try if the latest CVS fixes the problem?

Yes, it is a boost jam version. I am not using boost, just
boost jam. I can try CVS version of boost jam though.

I have checked CVS version, the problem is fixed there. The
same changes, BTW.
