Description 

rint function is not declared in any of MSVC's include 
files.

As far as I can see the only library using rint is the
interval library: this is unsupported on VC6 for reasons
that go beyond this one function.  If you think it's
possible to port this library to VC6 then please open a new
issue with that library as the subject.
