symbian os

hi,

i tried to compile boost lib using symbian os gcc
compiler (gcc version 2.9-psion-98r2) but it doesn't work.
i get errors like "parse error" or "invalid token in
expression" and stuff.

so my question is if anyone of you got any experiance
with symbian os and boost lib.

if so i would really appreciate if i would get an answer.

What version of Boost are you trying to use with gcc 2.9 ?
IIRC, only Boost 1.30 builds with gcc 2.95, but
2.9-psion-98r2 is a cross-compiler for the Symbian OS.

I wouldn't expect to get good results with this compiler.  Boost doesn't support it.  If Psion has a cross compiler based on a more recent GCC, you should try that one.
